Torres & Gerrard fit for the fight.

Up until twenty-four hours or so a go I was convinced Liverpool would face off with Manchester United at Anfield tomorrow minus the club's two most influential individuals but a day is a long time in football and I'm absolutely delighted to learn that they are both fit for this mouth watering clash.
It just wouldn't be the same without them would it?
Whether they start is a question only Rafa can answer.
"They came through a full training session this morning. It wasn't a very hard session, but they will both be in the squad. If they are in the squad then they can play."
"It's important for us to have these two players of quality who can change a game. I'm not surprised they are available because the medical staff have done a good job and the players have been working really hard with the physios to get fit." Liverpool manager Benitez confirmed.
LIVERPOOL V MANCHESTER UNITED
This one's got all the ingredients to be a stunner even though the past few duals haven't showcased the best football, overall they have never lacked anything when it comes to explosive energy and passion.
Berbatov to score the winner on his debut? Or maybe Keane to get it with his first Liverpool goal? Possibly someone totally unexpected? I'll put five bucks on Mascherano at the TAB to win it! Yes, wishful thinking, but after his first half red card in last seasons game at Old Trafford he'll be pining to put things right and his confidence will be sky high after securing a second gold medal at the Olympic Games. But regardless of that every Liverpool player will be hungry for a league win over United that's eluded the club since Rafa's inception and I for one hope that void is finally fulfilled.

Rafa had to intervene and convince Mascherano to leave the pitch after his red card in last seasons clash at Old Trafford.

I'd love a Liverpool win but my head says 1-1. Mind you, I predicted a draw for England in their match against Croatia. We all know how that turned out!
